CRAFTING A PRESENCE

Maybe it’s my age. At 44, everything I’ve learned in my life seems to be gelling in all the right ways. Once I made the decision to become a full-time artist, I just intuitively knew what I needed to do to start constructing a successful business.

Having owned a few businesses in the past, I knew all the licensing procedures and payment setup methods. Having been a professional web developer from 2004 to 2010, I set to work building a new website. Having been a professional photographer from 2000 to 2007, I began preparing my camera equipment for acquiring reference photos and pics for the website. I also had an oil painting of a family I had started over a year ago that desperately needed finishing so I could move on to new paintings and also use as a showcase piece to advertise the new business.

I definitely feel motivated.
