ROUGH FEW MONTHS

I’m back to work on creating the muscles. I had to take a break for a while due to having to live in my shop for 5 weeks to avoid tension in the house. Now that I’m back living in my home I have resumed work. The muscles are proving to be very difficult to create. I’ve had many of the muscles 3D printed and am trying to make decent molds from them. Last night was my first attempt at injecting red-dyed silicone into three molds that had 6-10 muscles in each. After taking the molds apart this morning I had roughly 20% success. Most of the muscles had air pockets and some didn’t form at all, probably because the air channels were blocked. So I am scrapping the idea of injection molds and am going back to making simple single molds of each muscle. It will take a very long time but I think the results will be worth it.
