BUSINESS CARDS ROUND 3

I checked the mailbox twice today, and both times it was empty. Mail usually comes around 12:30pm every day, so after the 2nd check at 2pm I decided there just wasn’t going to be any.

At 4pm I headed out to go pick up the boys from school and decided to check a third time. Yay! Mail!

I got my third round of business cards, and this time they looked good. I also got some stickers with the business name and mailing address on them in hopes I can use them as mailing stickers. Pretty cool.

Aside from that I worked on the portrait some more that I started yesterday. It’s coming along pretty good. I’ll probably have all the pencil work done tomorrow and then spend the day using the blending sticks to finish it up. I’m ahead of schedule on this one since I don’t think she needs it until sometime in March.

I got a phone call today from what sounded to be an elderly woman. She said she had seen Elysian Realm in some sort of directory and was asking what all I did besides pencil drawings and oil paintings. I cheerfully told her that is all I do, and then she wanted to find out about taking lessons. I was a bit surprised by this, but I told her I do not give lessons, Elysian Realm is for selling my own art. She then congratulated me and said she hoped I was very successful.

After that phone call I was drawing for a bit and noticed the green light was on next to my laptop’s camera. After seeing the movie “Snowden” I was immediately paranoid and covered the camera while I looked around my laptop to see what apps were running. My FaceTime app was on. I turned it off and the green light turned off. I guess maybe the lady FaceTimed me? Weird.
