A CMS is a ‘Content Management System’ which makes updating a website easy without the need for coding.

Before today I was manually entering these blog entries directly into the database. I needed a more elegant solution, so I spent the day writing code to build my own CMS.

This entry – in fact – is actually a test entry to see if my new system is working. I have been successful at getting the text stored in the database, but uploading the photos has been giving me problems.

If you are reading this post, then my CMS is working.
